KARA’s Gyuri broke up with her boyfriend Song Ja Ho.
On Friday, Gyuri’s agency CREATIVE KKOT confirmed, “It’s true that Gyuri broke up with her boyfriend.” However, the company refused to make any other comments, emphasizing that any other information is the artist’s private life.
Gyuri and Song Ja Ho went public with their relationship in October 2019. According to the artist’s agency at the time, the two bonded over their love for art before they started dating.
In particular, as Song Ja Ho is the eldest grandson of the founder of Dongwon Construction, their relationship made headlines as an “idol-chaebol” relationship. Of course, the fact that Song Ja Ho is 7 years younger than Gyuri also drew attention.
Since they started dating publically, the two even shared good deeds together, such as donating masks for the pandemic. Yet, Song Ja Ho made headlines in July after he was caught driving under the influence. At the time, suspicions arose that he caused a hit-and-run accident and even confined a woman in his car.
