Highlight’s Yang Yoseop is coming back with a solo album.
On August 27th, Around US Entertainment made an official announcement. They stated, “Highlight’s member Yang Yoseob will be releasing his first full-length solo album on September 20th.”
Yang’s upcoming album will be marking his first solo release after his last digital single 20 Full Moons, which he dropped two years and eight months ago just before his enlistment in January 2019. Besides his solo single in 2019, this new compilation will be Yang Yoseop’s first solo album since his debut. Currently, Yang is gearing up to release this exciting new album with the songs of various composers.
Previously, Yang Yo Seop has proved his exceptional talent by dominating the music charts with the song “LOVE DAY (2021)” in March 2021. He had made the song in collaboration with Naver’s webtoon Right Love Guide and Jung Eun Ji. Plus, recently, KBS 2TV’s Sketchbook gave a sneak peek at his upcoming return and garnered huge attention.
Meanwhile, Highlight released their third mini-album, The Blowing, in May and made a successful comeback with the title song, “Not the end.”
