Ahead of the premiere of Hometown Cha Cha Cha on the 28th, Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho posed side by side during a lively photoshoot with Elle.
Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho‘s exclusive photoshoot for the magazine captured their vibrant and energetic personalities.
Shin Min Ah will play Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist who moves to the seaside village of Gongjin from Seoul. When asked why she decided to join the series, she replied, “It’s a heartwarming story. The stories of every character are very much alive. In this time of the pandemic, I imagined that the audience would want to meet this delightful story as much as I wished to play a beautiful romantic comedy.”
Shin also praised her costar Kim Seon Ho. She shared, “I was surprised to find out that Kim is good at everything, just like his character Hong Doo Shik. Many people will love his character for sure. I’m grateful to him for always making me feel welcomed on set.
Kim Seon Ho plays Hong Doo Shik, a handyman who helps everyone in town. In the interview after the photo shoot, Kim Seon Ho shared, “When I become Hong Doo Shik in front of the camera, the director says ‘OK!’ even though my hair looks like a bird’s nest. Even when the wind flips my collar upside down, we keep shooting. It’s so much fun to make the drama series in a free-spirited way.”
About his co-star Shin Min Ah, he said, “She’s very candid and sweet. I’ve never seen her frown on anything on the drama set. I think she has a great mind.” And he added, “Yoon Hye Jin is a great individual who isn’t afraid to express herself honestly. I think she’s amazing.”
Hometown Cha Cha Cha will premiere on the 28th at 9 PM KST.
