Soojin is officially leaving (G)I-DLE due to her alleged bullying scandal.
On August 14th, Cube Entertainment announced Soojin’s departure from (G)I-DLE through an official statement. The agency started, “As of today, the company has decided to exit Soojin from the team. (G)I-DLE will continue their activities as a five-member group.”
Soojin’s alleged bullying scandal was raised in March. Soon, actress Seo Shin Ae also stated that she was a victim of Soojin’s bullying during her school days. The artist refuted all the claims raised against her herself and sued those she thought were spreading false rumors. However, after six months, she will be leaving the team.
According to some insiders, Cube Entertainment had already decided on Soojin’s exit from (G)I-DLE months ago when the controversy over her school violence was at its peak.
