Producer Kim Tae Ho, singer Rain, and TV personality Noh Hong Chul are coming together for the new Netflix show Foodie and Beardie (literal title).
Netflix has officially announced the launch of its new variety show Foodie and Beardie in partnership with MBC producer Kim Tae Ho.
Kim, well-known for his megahit shows Infinite Challenge and Hangout with Yoo, joined hands with his old partners, producers Jang Woo Sung and Lee Joo Won, for the upcoming show. Along with this golden lineup, “foodie” Rain and “beardie” Noh Hong Chul will travel on their bikes around the country to find the “tastes.”
Foodie and Beardie started from an unexpected friendship between Rain and Noh, who are madly in love with their bikes. Rain is dead serious about eating something delicious because he only eats one meal per day for his diet. And Noh is serious about traveling enough to set up a travel agency. The only thing they have in common is the bike. The chemistry between these two people, who have entirely different tastes in everything from fashion to traveling style, is a must-watch.
On top of that, guitarist and singer-songwriter Lee Sang Soon (aka Lee Hyori’s husband) has been tabbed as the music director. Foodie and Beardie will captivate your eyes and ears by showing two riders running freely in the city and nature as Lee’s emotional music flows out.
Meanwhile, Foodie and Beardie finished all major filming and is currently in the midst of post-production.
