Netflix will unveil its new original show, From the New World (working title), at the end of this year.
According to media outlets, From the New World, starring Lee Seung Gi, Eun Ji Won, EXO’s Kai, Park Na Rae, and Jo Bo Ah, finished filming last month in Oedo, Gyeongnam. The show will meet the viewers later this year.
From the New World is a new variety show set on an island. And Oedo, where the beautiful sea and scenery harmonize, was chosen as the filming location.
One of the most anticipated parts of the show is the cast’s chemistry. Lee Seung Gi and Eun Ji Won had previously worked together in KBS’s 1 Night 2 Days Season 1 and tvN’s New Journey to The West Season 1. Since the two have proved themselves as the “trusted duo,” expectations are high on what they will show with the rest of the cast.
