Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of July

tvN’s Hospital Playlist 2 remained in the top spot for two weeks. Especially, the episode about a patient’s natural childbirth and Jung Kyung Ho and Kwak Sun Young’s love story drew keen attention. SBS’s The Penthouse 3: War in Life ranked 2nd for the second week. Eugene’s death in the play became the hottest topic, and the possibility of her being alive created a heated debate. tvN’s Doom at Your Service ended with a grand finale at No. 3. Many showed disappointment over the work and criticized the unconvincing ending.

tvN’s My Roommate Is Gumiho kept its 4th place, but some commented that “the story is getting dull.” However, the Kang Hanna-Kim Do Wan couple gained favorable reviews. tvN’s new series The Devil Judge started on a solid note at No. 5. The trial scene became a big topic of discussion, and viewers were satisfied with the 235-year prison sentence given to a perpetrator. KBS’s At a Distance, Spring Is Green continued to draw a downward curve and fell to 6th place.

Non-Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of July

MBC’s Hang Out With Yoo topped the non-drama ranking with a great buzz. In the latest episode, behind-the-scene of shooting a MV with Jeon Yeo Been and the lineup for the 100th-episode’s special concert were revealed, drawing great attention. MBC’s I Live Alone came in second. Actress Pyo Ye Jin and singer Park Jae Jung’s appearance received positive reviews as it showed realistic and fun daily lives. tvN’s DoReMi Market and You Quiz on the Block landed at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. JTBC’s new show Sea of Hope started off in 5th place. The star-studded cast made headlines, but the viewers showed mixed reactions.
