Jang Keun Suk has been offered the lead role in the new Kakao TV series Somehow Country Diary (literal title).
According to YTN Star, Jang was offered the title role of the upcoming Kakao TV series Somehow Country Diary. In response, Jang’s agency AG Corporation shared that the actor is contemplating the offer.
Somehow Country Diary is a romance series about a man from Seoul who starts living in a country and meets a policewoman. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Park Ha Min.
Meanwhile, Jang met his global fans through fan meet after his military discharge last year. He also topped the real-time and daily charts of Japan’s Line Music and Japan iTunes with the songs “Star” and “Emotion” released in March and May.
Since Jang is carefully contemplating his next steps, fans are wondering what his next move will be.
