BTS’ V and Park Hyung Sik will help out their best friend, Peakboy.
According to Sports Chosun, V and Park will star in Peakboy’s new MV. It is the first time a BTS member has ever appeared in a music video of a singer who is not his labelmate. Also, Park has been focused on building his acting career since the disbandment of ZE: A in 2017. So this will be his first appearance in a music video in four years.
In particular, V and Park bonded when they starred in the KBS series Hwarang and have been best friends ever since. As a part of the “Wooga Family,” they have consistently shown off their friendship. Naturally, V and Park’s appearance on Peakboy’s MV is already the hottest topic among global K-pop fans.
Meanwhile, BTS wrote a new history with their latest English song, “Butter,” by landing at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks in a row. On Friday, they will release a new single album, Butter, which includes “Butter” and “Permission to Dance (feat. Ed Sheeran).”
Park has recently chosen Happiness as his comeback project. Happiness is an apocalyptic thriller that depicts the survival of people isolated in apartments, a miniature of a hierarchical society.
