CIX is gearing up for their comeback.

According to SPOTVNEWS, CIX is currently recording their new album with a goal to release it in July. This will be CIX’s comeback in about five months since they dropped their 4th mini-album Hello, Strange Dream in February.

In fact, CIX has been working on the upcoming album’s title track to release three albums within this year. Wrapping up their Hello, Strange Dream, the group shared, “We are planning on making three comebacks in 2021. We just finished our February promotions, and we have already chosen the title tracks for the summer and winter albums.”

In addition, this new album is expected to be the start of the new series. So far, CIX had worked on the “Hello” series (Hello, Stranger; Hello, Strange Place; Hello, Strange Time; and Hello, Strange Dream). Since their latest smash was the prequel and grand finale of the “Hello” series, CIX will be opening a new door starting with the upcoming album.

On top of that, the worldview that connects CIX with their “younger brother group” EPEX also raises curiosity. C9 Entertainment launched its new boy group EPEX on the 8th and announced that CIX and EPEX’s worldviews are connected, exciting the fans.

Attention also focuses on what kind of records the new album will make. Hello, Strange Dream achieved outstanding records in Korean and overseas charts: No. 1 on Gaon Weekly Album Sales Chart; No. 1 on Hanteo Daily and Weekly Chart; and No. 1 on iTunes K-pop Chart in Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand.
