TXT’s ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ Sells 630k Copies in the First Week

According to Hanteo Chart, TXT’s second album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, sold 630,563 copies in the first week of its release (May 31st through June 6th).

They set a new record for the highest sales for a group who only worked in the industry for 3 years. There were 700K preorders, and 90 percent of the people made an actual purchase. And such result is why many are looking forward to seeing its upcoming performance. With this achievement, TXT’s solidified its position as one of the top 4th generation idols.

They surpassed their previous record by selling 430K copies of the album in just 2 days since its release. Their 3rd mini-album, minisode1: Blue Hour, sold about 303K copies in the first week.

TXT’s latest album is doing incredibly well on various global charts too. The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE �was number 1 on Itunes Top Album Chart in 45 countries, including UK, Japan, Canada, Netherland, and Brazil. On June 4th, the album debuted at No. 19 on UK’s Official Album Downloads Chart Top 100.
