Ryu Seung Ryong Takes the Lead Role In a 50-Billion-Budget New Series

On the 4th, an industry insider reported through Sports Chosun that Ryu Seung Ryong would be joining the series, Moving, as a male lead.

Moving is based on Kang Pul’s popular webtoon with the same name. It is a hero series about families with innate superpowers, fighting with villains beyond the times and generations. Director Park In Je from Kingdom Season 2 is in charge of the series with screenwriter Kang Pul. Plus, Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo have already confirmed their appearance.

Ryu Seung Ryong gained global popularity by starring in Netflix’s Kingdom series. And he became the big-screen star in the movie Extreme Job which 16 million viewers have watched.

Moving, which may be a 20-part series, will be a production with a massive budget of 50 billion won (About 45 million dollars). With promising casts and production crew, Moving signals the birth of K-heroes.

Currently, it is discussing a variety of plans for its broadcast programming, including airing the series on global OTT.
