‘Recalled’ Wins the Audience Award at the Florence Korea Film Festival

The mystery thriller Recalled, starring Seo Ye Ji and Kim Kang Woo, won the Audience Award at the Florence Korea Film Festival.

The Florence Korean Film Festival first started to introduce the passion of young and promising Korean film directors to Italy. Celebrating the 19th anniversary this year, the festival has created a venue for cultural exchanges between Korea and Italy.

Seo Yoo Min’s Recalled had a chance to screen with Lee Chang Dong’s Burning and Yoon Jong Bin’s The Spy Gone North for the Orizzonti section. Afterward, the movie won the Audience Award amid the enthusiastic response from Italian enceintes.

“I’ve always loved Italian films since I was a student,” shared Seo. “This is very meaningful to me, and I’m glad to hear that Recalled won the Audience Award in Italy, a country of great movies.”

Recalled is a new mystery thriller movie. It revolves around Su Jin (Seo Ye Ji), a woman who lost her memory. Soon, she starts seeing visions of the future. However, as she puts together her confusing memories, she faces the shocking truth about her husband, Ji Hoon (Kim Kang Woo). The film is currently available on various platforms, including TVING, Naver SERIES ON, Kakao Page, Wavve, and Google Play.
