BTS has returned, and yes, they are writing new history again.

BTS’s newest smash, “Butter,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100. According to Billboard, this is BTS’s 4th song that landed on the top stop, following “Dynamite,” “Life Goes On,” and “Savage Love.”

Billboard lavished praises, saying, “The song marks the superstar South Korean septet’s fourth Hot 100 No. 1, all in the last nine months, marking any act’s quickest accumulation of four initial leaders since Justin Timberlake a decade-and-a-half ago. Among groups, BTS has landed its first four No. 1s the fastest since the Jackson 5 in 1970.”

USA Today also covered BTS’s neverending record-breaking streak. “BTS’ “Butter” is melting the charts,” they wrote. “‘Butter,’ the K-pop group’s second song performed fully in English, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, unseating Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U,” which took the top spot last week.”

Forbes also took part in celebrating BTS’s new feat. “The tune replaces last week’s champion, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U,” which also opened in the first place. That track put up a good fight, as it actually improved in its performance (which is very rare for a tune that debuts atop the list), but nothing could beat BTS this time around.”

In response, BTS expressed their grateful hearts through a video message. “We made ‘Butter’ with the hope that there will be a song that everyone will enjoy during the summer. So it’s such an honor to rank No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100.” The members then showed their love for ARMYs around the world, saying, “Thank you so much, and we miss you.”
