The movie, The 8th Night, confirmed the global release on July 2nd.
The 8th night is a movie about an eight-day struggle to stop a demon, ‘who must not be unbound’ from crossing the seven stepping stones to resurrect and bring a hell full of pain to the world.
Lee Sung Min plays Park Jin Su. He is ‘the protector’ born with the fate of guarding the seal. Park Hae Joon plays a homicide detective who investigates the strange seven deaths. Kim You Jung plays the role of a mysterious girl who amplifies the mystery around seven stepping stones. Nam Da Reum, who starred in the TV series Six Flying Dragons and Start-Up, and the movie, KUNDO: Age of the Rampant, takes the role of Chung Suk. He is a young monk who tries to send a message about the demon’s resurrection. In the movie, he shows his innocent and delightful charm to the audience.
Lastly, a new rookie director, Kim Tae Hyeong, helms the picture and scripts.
