tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama The Devil Judge released the pictures from the table read.
The Devil Judge is a series set in a fictional dystopia, Korea. It delivers a message about justice through a format of a live streaming courtroom show in which the entire nation participates. So far, Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, Jin Young, Park Kyu Young, and Kim Jae Kyung have joined the series.
Ji Sung plays Kang Yo Han, the “devil judge” who punishes the greedy men in power. And Kim Min Jung takes on the role of Jeong Sun Ah, his only rival. She showed a powerful performance that overwhelmed the casts in the table read.
Jin Young plays an associate trial judge Kim Ga On, the sliver lining hope in a dystopia with sincere faith for justice. And Park Kyu Young will be Yoon Soo Hyun, the police detective in the investigation unit. The two’s long friendship is showing some signs to develop into something more. Kim Jae Kyung showed the bouncy charm of the role of Oh Jin Joo, a judge that the camera loves.
Ji Sung said, “I’ve been working really hard since last December. I’m filming with excitement. The show will be really amazing,” expressing his passion for the series.
tvN’s The Devil Judge �will premiere in July.
