“KCON: TACT” is coming back with a new season.

On Monday, CJ ENM announced their plan to host the 4th season of “KCON: TACT” from June 19th to 27th.

Since 2012, CJ ENM held “KCON: TACT” 24 times in the U.S., France, Australia, Mexico, and Europe. Since then, it became one of the biggest Korean wave festivals that garnered more than 1.1 million offline admissions. With the outbreak of COVID-19, “KCON: TACT” has expanded its platform online since last year.

By March this year, 86 K-pop teams appeared in the three seasons of “KCON: TACT” and attracted 12.45 million fans worldwide. Likewise, it became the world’s largest K-Culture festival in name and reality.

Following “KCON: TACT 3” held in March, CJ ENM will prepare the upcoming event as a world tour. Followed by the previous LA, Tokyo, Paris, and Bangkok tours, the concert will provide a more realistic experience with the artist. For example, they will present a variety of combined and upgraded programs such as VDIUM.

Programs that boost intimacy between artists and their fans will also be reorganized. “Music Room,” which showcased new sides of the artists through bad live performances or collaborations, will be expanded to another level. In the meantime, “Meet & Greet” will also be set up.

“‘KCON: TACT,’ which expanded its stage to the online world due to COVID-19, is already celebrating its fourth season as a venue for artists and their international fans,” an official from CJ ENM shared. “We will try our best to establish a platform that satisfies both artists and fans.”
