Park Hae Jin, who won the Grand Prize last year at the MBC Drama Awards, chose his new project.
According to media outlets, Park Hae Jin joined the new TV series Showtime From Now (working title). He will start filming for this new project in August as the main character Cha Cha Woong.
Cha Cha Wong is a magician who employs ghosts as he wishes. When he gets caught up in an unexpected incident, he and his ghosts employees come together to get to the bottom of the case.
On top of that, he will become an item with a passionate female police officer who can see ghosts. Hence, this new project will be a comic romance ghost-collaboration mystery series. Mystic Pop-Up Bar writer Ha Yoon Ah pens the script.
Park Hae Jin will breathe life into Cha Cha Woong, a charismatic magician well-known for his sour expressions. He has emerged as a superstar in the magic world, working on TV shows and stages thanks to his incredible magic skills.
Last year, the actor won his first Grand Prize for his brilliant performance in Kkondae Intern since he debuted 14 years ago.
