Imitation and Music Bank will come together.
According to KBS, two groups from Imitation – Tea Party and SHAX – will take the Music Bank stage before the premiere episode on April 30th and May 7th. This occasion will be conducted under the theme of “alternate personas” that has been going around in the entertainment industry. Actors are currently working hard to complete quality performances.
On April 30th, Tea Party will be performing in Music Bank. Tea Party consists of Jung Ji So (Maha), Minseo (Ria), and Lim Nayoung (Hyunji). On the day of the premiere (May 7th), boy group SHAX will take the stage. This 6-member group consists of U-KISS’s Jun (Kwon Ryok), SF9’s Chani (Eunjo) and Hwiyoung (Leehyun), ATEEZ’s Jongho (Hyuk), Yuri (Dojin), and Ahn Jeong Hun (Jaewoo).
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Imitation will be a tribute to Korean idols. The series centers around several fictional idol teams – top boy group SHAX, a rising rookie girl group Tea Party, a passionate boy group Sparkling, and more.
These groups have already opened their own social media, starting communications with prospective audiences and fans. In addition, the production team chose Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium, which is used for actual large-scale concerts, for realistic portrayal.
Meanwhile, Imitation will premiere on May 7th at 11:20 PM KST.
