Ahead of the film’s release in May, You’re So Precious to Me dropped the main teaser and movie poster.
Jin Goo has returned to screens as Jae Sik, a character who is not afraid of anything but money. Ingenious child actor Jung Seo Yeon plays Eun Hye, who cannot see nor hear. The story of the special relationship between the ‘fake dad and daughter’ is coming to theatres this May.
The two’s unusual relationship in You’re So Precious to Me starts as Jae Sik steps forward to be a pretend-father for Eun Hye. The child feels and communicates with the world only with her fingertips. It is more so meaningful as this is the first-ever Korean film to address deafblindness.
After the previous teaser poster, this main poster captures the warm, yet mixed up, gazes of the two. As tears are about to drop from Jin Goo’s eyes, the actor raises questions about his backstory in the movie. On the other hand, Jung Seo Yeon’s gaze makes us become invested in the two’s relationship. The phrase on the poster, “The Most Special Encounter,” also raises expectations about how their relationship will change throughout the movie.
As the first movie about a deafblind person, the movie You’re So Precious to Me will present viewers with a precious and heart-warming story this upcoming May.
