EXO’s Baekhyun recorded the 2nd million-seller title as a solo artist and the 7th million-seller title in his career.
Baekhyun sold 1,006,835 copies of his 3rd mini-album Bambi, released on March 20th, in just 20 days. With the record, the singer has once again proved his power as the “top solo artist.”
With his previous smash Delight, Baekhyun won his first million-seller title. It made Baekhyun the second artist win the million-seller title with both solo and group albums since Seo Tae Ji. And today, Bambi because his second million-selling album.
Primarily, Baekhyun has already achieved the title of million-sellers as a group. EXO become a Quintuple Million Sellers after selling 1 million copies with all five full-length albums. Including his EXO carer, Baekhyun became the holder of seven albums with more than one million sales.
Baekhyun personally celebrated the feat by leaving a short message to his fans. “First of all, out EXO-Ls, thank you so much. I will always try to make sure that the first thing that comes to mind when you think of me is pleasant, refreshing, and good feelings.”
Bambi has received explosive responses from around the world. Since its release, the album has topped iTunes Top Album Chart in 60 regions and China’s QQ Music.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun will be starting his military service on May 6th, the day of his birthday.
