AKMU’s Suhyun confirmed to participate in Crazy Person in The Area (literal title).
To be revealed in May, the upcoming KakaoTV series is about Noh Hwi Oh (Jung Woo) and Lee Min Kyung (Oh Yeon So). Noh, on the one hand, has zero control over his anger management. On the other hand, Lee is very talented in provoking anger from people. It is a romance series about the two competing for the title of ‘the craziest in the area.’
With two iconic actors Jung Woo and Oh Yeon Seo, viewers expect a remarkable synergy on the show. First, Suhyun will be an emotionless part-timer who also goes by her real name.
As she gets to work at the convenience store in Noh Hwi Oh and Lee Min Kyung’s neighborhood, Suhyun shows why navigating 20s is hard. It’s been a long time since she lost hope for humanity, as she came across all sorts of rude customers while working part-time jobs to pay for her student loans and housing rent. Thus, the character learns how to treat her customers with empty eyes and cold language. Now, she doesn’t waste even a single percent of her emotions. However, whether she will remain unbothered by Noh Hwi Oh and Lee Min Kyung is questionable. People are already anticipating the three character’s chemistry in Crazy Person in The Area.
The production described, “part-timer Suhyun is a character that accentuates Hwi Oh and Min Kyung’s personalities.
