Magazine Dazed released pictorials with K-pop icon G-Dragon and Chanel House its 13th-anniversary issue in 2021.
As Chanel’s global ambassador, G-Dragon roamed the streets with Chanel’s 2021 spring-summer collection.
In the following interviews, the iconic K-pop star talked about what filled his daily life, including music, movies, food, social media, and plans for the pandemic era. For example, he opened up the most recent memo he wrote on his phone.
“I’ve been working on Big Bang’s music lately, so I’ve been focusing on finding music keywords for you. I spend most of my time writing lyrics, so I usually leave them as memos.”
In the meantime, G-Dragon surprised everyone at the scene when he showed off his impromptu artwork. He recorded the process and unveiled it through the magazine.
“I think of an impression. That’s why I’m interested in wearing clothes. There is a reason if something is weird yet awesome. So if I try different things on, I know and learn what suits me the best. Well, it’s more like getting used to it than learning it. Of course, trends will continue to change. But I’m comfortable that I can organize my style into a single theme. It feels like I’m getting my style. What’s trending isn’t important anymore.”
G-Dragon’s artwork will have its display at the “Dazed” office building in Seongsu-dong.
This upcoming cover story will be available on the special issue of Dazed and Dazed’s official social media.
