F(x)’s Vitoria will strictly focus on her career in China.
According to Hankyung, Victoria has officially parted ways with SM Entertainment. Any information related to SM has been scrubbed from Victoria’s official site. The agency also deleted Victoria’s picture and profile from its website.
However, Victoria Studio, the company in charge of managing Victoria’s career in China, will continue helping the artist.
Victoria first made her face known in 2008 when she appeared in SHINee’s debut MV for “Replay.” The following year, she officially debuted as the eldest member and the leader of f(x).
Her career in China started in earnest when she took the lead in the 2012 Chinese TV series When Love Walked In. Since then, she actively promoted in mainland China as an actress and a singer. Although she has frequented Korea and China, she hasn’t shown her face in Korea since she starred in the 2016 movie My New Sassy Girl.
