Six groups have stated their feelings and goals for participating in Mnet’s Kingdom: Legendary War. An online press conference was held on the 1st to mark the first airing of the survival show.
As the most experienced of them all, BTOB stated, “There were voices of concern when we announced our appearance in Kingdom. We decided to participate with our passion for the stage. We’ll show you the potential of a 10-year old group. On the other hand, iKON revealed, “It’s an honor to join Kingdom. We’ll do our best. Please keep an eye out for iKON’s unrestricted energy.”
SF9 said they were nervous about being up against other competitive artists. “We’d like to end it in a positive mood after showing off all our charms,” they said. The previous winner of Road to Kingdom, THE BOYZ, declared, “We’ll show everyone great stages with our fans’ support. We ask you to give us a lot of attention.”
Stray Kids added, “We are honored with the chance to appear on Kingdom despite our lacks. We’ll demonstrate a variety of sides of Stray Kids to everyone, including our fans all over the world.” ATEEZ also said a word. “It’s an honor to be on a program with seniors, whom we respect. We hope to express our passion on the stage. We will treat each stage as a precious chance.”
Along with THE BOYZ, who came from winning the previous show, Road to Kingdom, BTOB, iKON, SF9, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ will appear as competitors in Kingdom. The highly anticipated show will kick off on April 1st at 7.50 PM KST.
