VICTON’s Byungchan (Choi Byung Chan) joined the new romance palace drama Affection (literal title).

According to StarNews, Byungchan has been cast as Park Eun Bin’s guard in KBS’s drama Affection.

Affection is a series adapted from the comics of the same name. The story begins with an unwanted girl abandoned by her parents, who want to keep her twin brother instead. When her brother, raised as a crown prince, dies, she steps in his shoes dressed as a guy. The drama began with a “naughty” imagination of what it would have been if a girl ascended the throne.

Byungchan will play crown prince Lee Hwi’s (played by Park Eun Bin) guard Kim Ga On. He is a taciturn soldier whose past is covered in a veil. He will entirely commit himself to his duty, protecting the crown prince.

In the recently-ended drama Live On, Byungchan turned into a pure and innocent man Kim Yoo Shin. And for his role as Kim Ga On, he will showcase a whole new charm as a taciturn man with an impressive presence.

Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin and Rowoon have joined Affection as the lead roles. The filming will begin soon with the goal of the premiere in the latter half of this year.
