The ending of SBS’s Fri-Sat series The Penthouse 2: War in Life has left a strong impression as Kim So Yeon knelt down to Eugene and apologized for the incident 25 years ago.
The seventh episode of the drama which aired at 10 p.m. KST on the 12th recorded maintained its throne as the No. 1 of all programs as it recorded a best of 25.2% for viewer ratings.
In the drama Oh Yoon Hee (played by Eugene) was seen to be shocked at the news that Ha Eun Byeol (Choi Ye Bin) is the real culprit of Bae Ron Na (Kim Hyun Soo)’s crash, and that Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) and Ha Yoon Cheol (Yoon Jong Hoon) were behind it. At the same time, it was revealed that the person who looked exactly like Shim Soo Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) was, in fact, Joo Seok Hoon (Kim Young Dae) and Joo Seok Kyung (Han Ji Hyun)’s birth mother, Na Ae Gyo (Lee Ji Ah).
As Oh Yoon Hee found was agitated by finding Cheon Seo Jin and Ha Yoon Cheol asleep in the hospital, she was kidnapped after being knocked out as soon as she approached the two. Logan Lee and Jin Bun Hong (Ahn Young Hong) were seen telling her to find Na Ae Gyo, who knows every secret of Joo Dan Tae.
Afterward, Cheon Seo Jin faced Oh Yoon Hee at the concert hall where the Cheong Ah Arts Festival was held and cried out “I don’t want to admit that I used your voice, even if I have to fall to the very bottom.” To this Oh Yoon Hee told her to kneel, apologize for slitting her throat back then, and admit that she had lost to her 25 years ago. The other then knelt down and apologized saying, “Sorry, I lost. I apologize for stealing the grand prize from you.”
Meanwhile, the eighth and next episode of The Penthouse 2 will air at 10 p.m. KST on the 13th.
