Jessi is to once again form a special duo with Psy.
On the 10th, her agency P Nation released the title poster of Jessi’s new digital single “What Type of X” through their official social media accounts. According to the poster, the new song is written and composed by both Jessi and Psy.
After the two collaborated on the catchy and fierce lyrics of Jessi’s “NUNU NANA” which was released last July, they are to work together once again in eight months. This time, in particular, Psy is to not only join in writing the lyrics but also composing for the song.
Apart from Yoo Gun Hyung who composed “NUNU NANA,” other musicians including johnjohn, JAE RO, CuzD, DONNA, SPACE ONE will be participating to perfect the track.
Curiosities were heightened as the lyrics poster and videos for “What Type of X” were released by P Nation. On the screen were intersecting chains, with the relentless red text asking, “What kind of X do you think I am?”
The second comeback teaser image, which was released later on, also caught the eye. Jessi was seen to be brighter in this teaser image as she stood in front of a mint-toned background.
Jessi’s new single “What Type of X” which is to be released in eight months, is a frank expression of her confidence and self-esteem. It will be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on the 17th.
