JB mentioned GOT7 in his interview with 1st Look.

On Feb 26, a new video titled “JB’s video message – Take good care of my friend” was posted on the official YouTube channel for 1st Look magazine.

In the released video, JB appeared as a client of the “Please Take Care of My Wardrobe” corner and talked about his ideas about fashion, including his current outfits, favorite fashion style, favorite brands, and the “worst items” in his closet.

After about a 7 minute-long interview about JB’s fashion world, JB mentioned his group GOT7 at the end. “I always wanted to say this when I get the chance. Some people think GOT7 is now split up. It’s not like that at all. We’re trying hard to keep the team, unconditionally. We’re trying even now. I’m taking the lead, trying hard. You don’t have to worry,” he shared, touching fans’ hearts with his heartfelt words.

Earlier this year, GOT7 parted ways with JYP Entertainment when their exclusive contract ended. Since then, Yugyeom and Jinyoung settled in AOMG and BH Entertainment, respectively, while Yougnjae and Jackson signed contracts with Sublime Artist Agency. JB, BamBam, and Mark are currently working on their own without an agency.

Though fans were saddened by the fact that members each went off their separate ways, members constantly reassured them that GOT7 will remain as one group. And to prove their words, GOT7 recently released their new song “Encore.”
