GOT7 will release a new song as a complete group.
As heralded through members’ Instagram Story, GOT7 will drop their new song “Encore” today at 6 pm KST. “Encore” is a song that contains members’ messages for IGOT7s (GOT7’s official fandom) and their hopes to sing for their beloved fans.
Back in January, GOT7 has part their ways with JYP Entertainment and has since opened a new chapter of their career, going off to their paths as solos, actors, and YouTubers. But soon after the news of their departure hit the wire, members personally wrote a handwritten letter to their fans, saying, “There is one thing we can say to our IGOT7s. We will continue to make music for IGOT7, share them with you and spend more time together.”
This upcoming song began with GOT7’s sincere desire to keep their promise with their fans despite their busy schedules.
And at midnight on Feb 20, GOT7 launched their own YouTube channel and posted MY teaser for “Encore,” drawing enthusiastic responses from K-pop fans around the world who have been keenly waiting for the group’s comeback.
