Lee Dong Wook gave an update ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
On Feb 8, Lee Dong Wook hosted livestream event “Exciting Lunar New Year V LIVE.”
He opened his broadcast, saying, “There is no script prepared for today. I just turned this on to talk to my fans before the Lunar New Year.”
“I finished filming Single in Seoul three days ago. I took about 8 days break after finishing Tale of the Nine-Tailed and started shooting the film right away. It was exhausting both mentally and physically. I’m relieved that it’s all over. And I’d like to thank our staff members,” he added.
Lee continued, “Recalling the past three months, I don’t know how it went. it’s not because I was so busy, but I just feel like I wasn’t in my right mind as I continued to film day after day.”
He also hinted at his new film, saying, “Some staff watched the rough draft version of the movie, and they said it was good. I haven’t seen it yet, though. With the current (pandemic) situation, I think the release will take some time. But I’m sure it will be released within this year, so please give a lot of attention and love.”
Meanwhile, Single in Seoul is a traditional romance about a man and a woman with opposite characters meeting through an essay and overcoming their scars from their past love.
