Kim Soo Hyun supported his close friend IU’s comeback with his own version of the “Celeb Challenge.”
On Feb 4, Kim Soo Hyun posted a short clip on his Instagram, along with a short message “#IU #Celebrity #Celeb_Challenge.”
With the release of IU’s latest song “Celebrity,” EDAM Entertainment started the “Celeb Challenge.” This challenge involves creating a clip that creatively shows your natural self behind the glamorous appearance for social media.
In the video Kim Soo Hyun released, he shares a glimpse into his simple daily life and pictures of him posing at the filming sites. Especially, the certification plate of the chair IU donated at the after-party for the drama The Producers caught the attention.
Afterward, IU left some rose emojis and commented, “Wow, such good handwriting,” suggesting that the text “celebrity” in the clip is Kim Soo Hyun’s handwriting.
IU and Kim Soo Hyun first co-starred in the 2011 drama Dream High and continued on their friendship since then. Kim appeared in IU’s music video for “Ending Scene” in 2017, and she also made a special appearance in his latest film Real. The two worked together in the 2105 drama The Producers, and most recently, Kim made a cameo appearance in her hit-drama Hotel Del Luna.
