tvN’s new drama Devilish Judge has cast Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, Park Jin Young and Park Kyu Young.
Devilish Judge is a drama that throws a message about justice through a live court show in which the whole nation participates. Is “devil judge ‘Kang Yohan a hero of all people or a devil wearing a judge’s mask in an era of chaos?
Ji Sung plays Kang Yohan, who will hunt down wicked ones behind his judge’s robe. Kang Yohan is the “devil judge” in a court show who wears a judge’s mask and relentlessly punishes greedy powerful people. He always flaunts his aristocratic taste and appearance but has this mysterious aura around him.
Kim Min Jung will turn into Jung Sun Ah, an executive director of a foundation and Kang Yohan’s mortal enemy. With her beautiful visuals and outstanding brain, Jung Sun Ah became a fascinating leader who controls the nation with her relationships with major figures of all fields, including Kang Yohan.
On the other hand, associate judge Kim Ga On, who will be seen as the only hope in dystopia, will be played by GOT7’s Park Jin Young. Kim Ga On, who lost his parents as a child and experienced a tough adolescence, is a character with persistence and tenacity who finally became an associate judge after years of struggle. Attention focuses on how Jin Young will portray Kim Ga On, who gets increasingly confused as he monitors Kang Yohan.
Park Kyu Young has been cast to take the role of Yoon Soo Hyun, a detective of the regional investigation unit. She is Kim Ga On’s close friend and a pursuer who seeks Kang Yohan’s secrets.
Meanwhile, Devilish Judge is helmed by Children of Nobody director Choi Jung Kyu and penned by Moon Yoo Suk, a former judge who also wrote Miss Hammurabi. It is set to air in the second half of this year.
