According to a report by SpoTV News on the 1st, TREASURE will be shooting for KBS2’s You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on the upcoming 2nd.

This is the first time TREASURE is featured on You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. Attention is drawn to what stage TREASURE will surprise global fans with, after boasting an accelerating rate of growth since their debut in August last year.

The interaction between TREASURE’s Bang Ye Dam and the show’s host You Hee Yeol is also to keep an eye out for. Bang Ye Dam appeared on SBS’ K-Pop Star Season 2 back in 2012 as he won the runner-up at the age of 11. Whilst not on Bang Ye Dam’s season, You Hee Yeol is a known judge panel of the K-Pop Star series, so the reunion of the two draws keen attention.

Above all, You Hee Yeol previously was surprised after listening to Bang Ye Dam’s solo “WAYO” last year, telling him that he’s grown so much since K-Pop Star Season 2. Bang Ye Dam is expected to show off his musical ability that has once again improved, even more, impressing You Hee Yeol on his show.

After BIGBANG, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE debuted as a rising boy band that made shining records in 5 months since their debut. The group is being praised as the hit K-Pop group of the generation. In particular, they made a record with cumulative album sales that exceeded 1 million, over the course of three singles and one full-length album.

Their global popularity is also to be noted. Their recently released My Treasure topped major Japanese music charts in real-time and they were chosen as one of the most notable K-pop rookie groups of 2021 by Time Magazine.

The airing schedule for KBS2’s You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook starring TREASURE is to be decided.
