Just a few days after he was embroiled in controversy over being an “animal hoarder,” Park Eun Seok has been accused of spreading false information.
Earlier today, 10Asia reported that A filed a 5 million KRW (about $ 4,476) compensation suit against Park on December 3 last year. According to the report, Park shared a photo and contact information of the plaintiff A in the theater group chat room in July 2017 and approached other actors and exercised “power” under the name of a casting director.
A shared, “Park Eun Seok spread false information about me in the group chat room where theater actors gather. Because of that, even my family was threatened, and I had to endure so much.” After years of suffering, A found out that the first distributor was Park.
When Park Eun Seok avoided the demand for an apology, A filed a lawsuit against him, complaining of mental damage.
“Since then, his agency has contacted me and expressed their intention to agree on an agreement and proposed compensation,” A said. “But that meeting was delayed for more than five months. I think Park Eun Sok was already cast for The Penthouse at the time, so he tries to keep things quiet out of fear of being forced to exit the production.”
In response, Hunus Entertainment stated, “We have confirmed the complaint and will respond through a law firm.”
