Hyuk met with Starnews on Jan 19 to talk about his new film Croissant (director Cho Sung Kyu).
After debuting as a member of VIXX back in 2012, Hyuk continued both his singing and acting careers. And recently, he headlined the film Croissant with actress Nam Bo Ra.
During the interview, Hyuk mentioned his team VIXX, saying, “All our members think ‘I have my own fish to fry.’ We also tend to think that we have so much to learn as an actor, so we tend not to talk about acting. We only answer honestly once we are asked to give feedback.”
He continued, “We ask questions like ‘Should I do this?’ or ‘Does this fit me?’ We dare not give comments about the diction or performance. I think these topics sort of became taboo for us. I don’t know what others do, but I do ask things like ‘How was I’ or ‘Would this have been better?’”
Meanwhile, Croissant is a youth drama about the youth who find themselves at a forked road between reality and ideality as they struggle to pursue their dreams. It will be released on Jan 21.
