Red Velvet, Zico & BTS Honored “Artist of the Year” at the 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards

Red Velvet, Zico and BTS won the Artist of the Year – Digital Music at the 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards.

On Jan 13 at 7 pm KST, Mnet broadcast the 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards, hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and ITZY’s Lia. The award ceremony was held without performances to protect the safety of singers and staff from COVID-19.

Red Velvet, who won Artist of the Year – Digital Music for December, thanked her fans, saying, “We are grateful to our fans for listening and loving our music. We will come back with various activities to repay your love, so please look forward to it. We hope you have a great year with Red Velvet in 2021.”

Zico and BTS each won Artist of the Year – Digital Music for January and February.

Meanwhile, the Gaon Chart Music Awards, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, is a major music awards show that awards songs, artists and music industry workers who have performed well over the past year based on Gaon Chart data.
