Yaochen, a member of the famous Chinese boy group R1SE, is creating a new craze in China with a solo song composed by JYP Entertainment’s Stary Kids.
Back on Dec 15, Yaochen dropped his single Nevermind. His first-ever solo song “Nevermind” ranked at No. 1 on QQ Music’s Daily Ranking Chart from the day it was released to Dec 30 and topped the Weekly Ranking Chart for two weeks (51st and 52nd). The music video also landed at No. 1 on the real-time trend in the entertainment category of Weibo on Dec 30.
What’s noteworthy about the song is that it was actually composed by 3RACHA, a producing team within Stray Kids.
3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) is said to have made the song as they recalled their communication with Yaochen, and Bang Chan even showed off his extraordinary musical talent by participating in the arrangement himself. Last year, Yaochen took part in the “God’s Menu” dance challenge, boasting their special friendship.
