P1Harmony’s new project music is being released with their fierce message.
The group will be releasing their digital single, “Breakthrough (Full Version)”, to main music platforms on the 29th at 6 p.m. KST.
This song is a part of an art collaboration project MIX HARMONY, organized by P1Harmony and DAZED Magazine.
“Breakthrough” is a song of the hip-hop genre with elements of rock. In particular, the song extends from the message of their debut album’s intro track “Intro; Breakthrough,” released back in October. Like its original, the song’s lyrics were written by all members of the group. It was also produced by them, adding their colors and showing the determination to break through a framework together.
The MIX HARMONY project especially allowed them to portray the song’s message visually, as they collaborated with professional artists of 3 fields: Fashion, Performance, and Artwork.
The group worked with designer Yoon Kyung Duk to produce collaborated costumes based on tech wears and with 1Million Dance Studio’s choreographers Lee Yoo Jung and Isabelle to showcase a strenuous performance that goes with the strong beats and lyrics of “breaking through the frame.” Furthermore, they worked together with art director May Kim for the album, to produce a new and futuristic result with metallic textures.
P1Harmony’s vibrant music film is to be released on FNC Entertainment and DAZED Magazine’s official YouTube channels on December 29th at 6 p.m. KST.
