Previously from the boy band B.A.P, Moon Jong Up is appearing as an actor as he plans to star in the movie Idol Recipe.
Big Ocean ENM announced on the 29th that he has recently been cast for Idol Recipe.
In the film, Moon Jong Up gets to play the role of Jang Joon, a genius composer of a nameless idol group ‘Bella.’ The character has the role of making positive influences, as he composes Bella’s theme song in order to revive the team for a comeback.
Idol Recipe is a human-comedy idol music movie about an unknown idol group ‘Bella’ succeeding as they enter the Billboards, after overcoming conflicts with the evil manager who tried to sell them out.
After debuting to the music industry as the main dancer of B.A.P, he announced the successful start of his solo career with the HEADACHE album back in May. He also widened his range as an actor by performing in the play, The Lost Village. As he made a solid presence in various fields, expectations are rising for what he will demonstrate this time in the movie Idol Recipe.
Meanwhile, Idol Recipe has also cast Bae Woo Hee, Kenta, Sohee, Ryu Ho Yeon, and Nahyun apart from Moon Jong Up.
