An additional COVID-19 case was reported inside the MBC headquarters.
According to MBC, one of the cleaning staff was confirmed with the new coronavirus. Following an assistant director and an outside cinematographer, this is the third COVID-19 case that MBC has seen.
After an MBC employee was confirmed with COVID-19, the network decided to take a preemptive measure and chose not to air 6 variety shows this weekend, including The Paikfather, Buddy into the Wild, Omniscient Interfering View, and How Do You Play? In addition, they closed the 4th, 6th and 13th floors, where the rooms that the staff stopped by are located.
MBC plans to resume their shows sequentially after thorough in-house quarantine.
