The biggest diva in K-pop is making her return.
On Dec 11, Amoeba Culture and Kakao M announced that they will be co-hosting Uhm Jung Hwa’s comeback project.
According to them, Uhm Jung Hwa confirmed the release of her new album on Dec 22 and is finalizing the preparation for her comeback. Her comeback as a solo diva comes about three years after her 10th full album The Cloud Dream of the Nine.
Uhm Jung Hwa has been the trend-setter that transcends generations and received much love for her career as a singer and an actress. As a singer, she has solidified her position as a leading diva in the K-pop scene with his unique music style and legendary stage, releasing numerous mega-hit songs such as “Rose of Betrayal,” “Invitation,” “Don’t Know,” “Festival” and “D.I.S.C.O.”
Most recently, Uhm Jung Hwa became “Manok” for Refund Sisters, a project group formed through MBC’s entertainment show How Do You Play? Then yesterday, the diva dropped a picture taken inside a recording studio, mounting the curiosity over her long-awaited comeback.
