BTS has yet again broken an all-time K-pop record!

According to Billboard, BTS’s single “Dynamite” moved up two spots on the “Pop Song Radio Play” chart and reached #9. This marks the first time a Korean group has ever made it in the Top 10 and the best ranking K-pop song on Billboard’s “Pop Song” chart. “Dynamite” initially came in at #30 on this chart upon its release.

The Billboard “Pop Song” chart is one of Billboard’s main radio charts. It ranks 40 of the top songs in the pop genre based on weekly broadcasts by around 160 major radio stations in the US.

BTS’s previous peak on this chart with another song was at #22 with “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)” last April. In 2012, Psy’s mega-hit “Gangnam Style” reached #10 on the “Pop Song Radio Play” chart.

“Dynamite” also came in at #12 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart, proving its longevity.

On November 20th, BTS will release their new album ‘BE (Deluxe Edition).’ The group members participated in the overall production of the album, from concept to visuals to music video.
