Hyun Bin’s appearance in his debut drama caught the attention.
On Oct. 11, KBS’s Must-See Drama Hommage (literal title) introduced the famous KBS drama Bodyguard, which aired in 2003.
Starring Cha Seung Won, Lim Eun Kyung, and Han Go Eun, Bodyguard tells the story of how Hong Kyung Tak (Cha Seung Won) turned his life around, and contains Cha Seung Won’s prime days. In addition to him, many friendly faces such as Han Go Eun, Song Il Gook, Lee Se Eun, Lim Eun Kyung, and Maya appeared, drawing attention from viewers.
Among them, the most surprising face was Hyun Bin, who is not one of the biggest Hallyu stars. Hyun Bin made his official debut through the drama by playing a stalker role. He first appeared in the pool and approached Han Shin Ae (Lee Se Eun) as a fellow model. However, he was later revealed to be a stalker and was caught by her bodyguard Kyung Tak.
Meanwhile, Hyun Bin, who showed his unrivaled presence in Bodyguard as a stalker, took the lead role in his next drama as a bodyguard.
