SEVENTEEN will return to the K-pop scene with their new album ; [Semicolon].
Pledis Entertainment confirmed that SEVENTEEN will make their comeback with a special album ; [Semicolon] on Oct. 19. Along with the announcement, they also released a trailer video.
This 41-seconds trailer starts by showing SEVENTEEN members in antique suits and fedora. Starting with Joshua, the members opened invitations one by one. The overall retro vibe caught the attention. Going beyond their images as a refreshing boy band, SEVENTEEN gave off maturity and refined charm, catching the eyes.
This is their comeback in 4 months since they released their seventh mini-album Heng:garæ in June. As SEVENTEEN sold more than 1 million copies (a total of 1.34 million) in just 7 days with Heng:garæ, expectations are rising rapidly if the group can set a new record as a double million-seller.
