CL has nestled on Weverse, a global K-pop community platform created by Big Hit Entertainment,
CL’s fan community was officially opened on Weverse on Sept. 28. Weverse wrote, “CL, who will officially engage in full promotion, will actively communicate with fans around the world through the Weverse community and deliver information on the new album.” CL also left a welcome message, saying, “I’m so excited to be able to communicate with our fans.”
Weverse is a fan community platform operated by Big Hit Entertainment subsidiary beNX. Initially, it was used by Big Hit singers such as BTS and TXT, but as Big Hit expanded to a multi-label system, the number of teams continued to increase.
Currently, BTS, CL, NU’EST, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, and TXT are included in the list, and on Oct. 5, FNC Entertainment’s rookie group P1Harmony will also join the platform.
Big Hit has repeatedly announced its plans to make Weverse available to artists who are not part of the label. CL’s entry into Weverse is also said to have been based on the need for communication with “global fandom.”
