BTS is scheduled to perform “Dynamite” for the first time at the “2020 MTV Video Music Awards” on August 31. The performance will be pre-recorded in Korea then broadcast live during the event. Starting with the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, BTS has performed in American Music Awards, Grammy Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, leaving their marks in four major music awards in the US.

BTS’s next goal is to top the Billboard singles chart, Hot 100. Hot 100 has been considered a chart in which foreign language songs are inevitably at a disadvantage because it ranks the number of radio broadcasts, streaming performance, and album sales. But now that BTS has released an English song, attention is focusing on what result the group will receive on Hot 100 chart.
