BTS Tops Global Top 50 on Spotify with ‘Dynamite’

BTS’s hit song “Dynamite” has topped Spotify’s main chart, making the band the first K-POP act to achieve the feat.

According to the latest chart released by Spotify on August 22, “Dynamite” first entered the Global Top 50 chart in the first place, garnering 7,778,950 streaming hits. It marks the highest streaming record by a K-POP song on Spotify on the day of release this year.

In addition, “Dynamite” ranked third in the US and 15th in the UK, setting its own best record. Also, BTS topped the charts in 14 countries, further imprinting its presence as a global superstar.

Meanwhile, the music video for “Dynamite” surpassed 10 million views in 20 minutes and 100 million views in 24 hours and 30 minutes.

BTS will also release EDM and acoustic versions of the song at 1:00 p.m. on August 24 KST.
