In response, JTBC has decided to halt all filming to prevent the spread of the virus. An official from JTBC said, “We have ordered a complete suspension of the dramas that are currently filming. We also have decided to temporarily suspend all dramas scheduled for filming in the Seoul metropolitan area.”

As a result, a total of six dramas ” 18 Again (Kim Hae Neul, Yoon Sang Hyun), More Than Friends (Ong Seung Wu, Shin Ye Eun), Private Lives (Seo Hyun, Go Kyung Pyo), Run On (Im Shi Wan, Shin Se Kyung), Live On (Hwang Min Hyun, Jung Da Bin), and All of Us Are Dead ” have come to a stop. They will return to their filming once the COVID-19 situation dials down.

tvN has also stopped filming Awaken and Start-Up. The production team of Awaken told a media outlet, “We will stop filming until August 25. We decided to suspend our filming schedule and take a rest in case of possible infection.” Kim Hee Won, who has been confirmed with COVID-19, did work at the filming site, but that was before he was tested positive. However, to take precautions, they have halted all schedules for the time being.

Meanwhile, Huh Dong Won (tested positive) and Seo Yi Sook (tested negative) appear in Start-Up. Though there have been no overlapping schedules, Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk are still keeping a close eye on the situation.

KBS’s Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, where Huh Dong Won and Seo Yi Sook also appear, stopped filming. All schedules officially came to a stop on August 19, and staff and actors have been tested. Go Ah Ra and Ye Ji Won are reportedly waiting for the results, and it has been reported that the drama might postpone its premiere date.

To All The Guys Who Loved Me, which stopped filming after Seo Sung Jong was tested positive, resumed its schedules after all other staff and actors received the negative results.
