AKMU’s Lee Suhyun will sing the Korean cover of “Reflection.”

On August 19, an official announcement of Suhyun singing the official cover of “Reflection,” the theme song of Mulan, came out.

“Reflection,” one of the three end-credit songs, is one of the most beloved songs in the 1998 Disney animation Mulan. In the live-action film Mulan, a magnificent orchestra version of the song will be inserted, evoking nostalgia among movie fans.

Suhyun expressed her overwhelming feelings, saying, “I finally got a Disney love call. I’m very excited to be part of a long-loved song as a Disney fan.”

Mulan is a 2020 American action drama film based on the Chinese folklore “The Ballad of Mulan” and is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1998 animated film of the same name. Liu Yifei will be starring as Mulan, and the movie is directed by Niki Caro. With a production budget of $200 million, it is the most expensive film ever made by a female director.

Meanwhile, Suhyun sang the original version of “Reflection” during the busking for Begin Again 4, drawing much attention.
